Ben originates from Australia where he grew up working on cattle ranches, in 2004 decided to venture to the USA to work for NCHA Hall Of Fame Open Rider Gavin Jordan. 

During his time as Gavin's apprentice, Ben learnt so much about the importance of a good foundation, training a horse to be confident and skills needed to be a great showman.

In 2006 Ben won the World Finals $2000 Limited Rider Show Champion and took out the Show Champion title as well with the highest earnings of $21,132. Since then as gone on to have a successful career internationally.

 

After years of running his own operation in California & Australia, 2018 presented an opportunity to work along side Trainer Chris Johnsrud in Weatherford, Texas. Ben specializes in starting, training & showing cutting horses.
